For about two years, Mahorahora's palm sugar business sourcing from three villages in Cicadas, Sinaresmi, and Gunung Karamat-Cisolok District, Sukabumi-West Java. Mahorahora intends to build a palm sugar business across the three villages in a sustainable manner that generates a positive impact on the local socio-economic and environmental aspects, especially since the three villages are partly located within the Gunung Halimun Salak National Park (GHSNP).
The ultimate objective of the study by Maroon Consulting is to develop an operational recommendation model to enhance Mahorahora business impacts on local social-economic and environmental dimensions.
