Aulia Aruan has a wide-range of knowledge, working experience and expertise for over a 3-decade period such as tropical forest management/planning, forest modeling, sustainability, forest certification, climate change, Measurement, Reporting and Verification (MRV), peat restoration planning as well as monitoring and evaluation (M&E). He has been working with the Ministry of Forestry in Indonesia for more than 20 years as a governmental employee. He seconded to GTZ (now called GIZ) and CIFOR. He has also been working with a world-class plantation forest company for around 10 years. He has been engaged with various local, national, regional and international organizations and universities/experts including non-governmental organizations.
